In this sermon, we walk through John 17 and see what Christ is doing even now—interceding for His people. Throughout Scripture, prophets spoke for God, kings ruled under God, and priests stood before God on behalf of the people. In Jesus, all three find their fulfillment, and here we are given a glimpse into His role as our great High Priest.

As He prepares for the cross, Jesus lifts His eyes to the Father and prays. The hour has come—the moment all of history has been moving toward, the plan of redemption set before the foundation of the world now unfolding.
